Another neice has been born, Lacie! She is the 4th child to Randy's sister and brother in law. She is grandchild #19 on Randy's side(Hence why I said . . another neice). We couldn't be happier to have her in our family and we can't wait until we get over our colds and can go see her! She is absolutely beautiful from her pictures and looks just like her siblings. Nice Job Nick and Heather! Congrats!
The weather here has been amazing! You can definitely tell spring is in the air. I love it!! We decided to make the most of it and went to the park for family night. We took pizza for a picnic dinner (which we ate most of on the way there because we were starving), played and let the dogs run around. We had a great time! The scrape on his nose is from a face plant down our front steps. :( Learning how to swing a golf club.
Even though the pictures do not show it, I was there too! :) Rhett and I swung on the swings, he sitting on my lap facing me. He laid his head on my chest and hung on tight. I loved it! (just wanted to write that down so I remember it.)
Our nephew, Cory and his wife Rachel had their first baby on March 1st, Jocelyn. She is the first great-grandchild on Randy's side. She is so adorable! We have only seen her in pictures since she lives in Utah but can't wait to meet her in person this weekend.

Our sweet nephew passed away on February 9th. We are so sad he is no longer with us and will miss him terribly! We are so glad to know he is in the loving, comforting arms of our Heavenly Father.
Steven, what a kid! He was handsome as ever and had the most beautiful smile. Everyone that came in contact with him was touched by his brilliant smile and love of life. He was so sweet, so thoughtful, kind, loving and patient. Steven was all boy. He loved hiking, surfing, mountain biking, anything out doors. He LOVED kids! He played for hours with all the nieces and nephews and they loved it. You could always tell Steven was enjoying himself too. For a time Steve worked at an after school club. He played with the kids all afternoon and couldn't believe that he got paid for it. It was just too much fun! Steven was a goof ball. He was always joking around, being silly, teasing (it runs in the family). But one of my favorite stories of Steven, that truly shows what kind of person he was, was about Prom. He found out there was a girl that didn't have a date to prom. He didn't know her but called her up and asked her to be his date. He was so excited to take her to prom and make sure she had a great time.
Steve, you are the BEST! We love and miss you.

Rhett is hilarious! Even he thinks so. He loves to tease (big surprise)! He understands everything and is a great listener. He still struggles with speech due to his tongue being tied but he is definitely improving since it was clipped. He LOVES books. We read A LOT! His most recent favorite thing to do is to sit in his crib with his books and read them by himself. He thinks he has out smarted us, his parents, because he can only have his pacifier and blanket in his crib so he gets to enjoy paci and blankie and read books. I love the 30 minutes of free time it gives me so I am okay with it. He loves to play outside, watch/help dad with any project, mimics EVERYTHING and loves his puppies. He wants to walk everywhere but watch out because he loves to run away from you and laugh as you run after him to catch him. He is strong, tough, not afraid of much and not much stops him. He is a darling little boy, so sweet and so much fun.
Randy went with some friends to Big Bear for the weekend. There was more fresh snow then Randy had ever seen anywhere, let alone the California Mountains. Randy attempted snowboarding ( 4 runs down the mountain) but it hurt too bad so he skipped out. Big Bear wouldn't give him his money back so he has a full day pass voucher. A lot of good that is going to do him! Anyone interested in buying it? Anyways, regardless of his lack of snowboarding he still had a great time with the guys.
