Congrats to our wonderful niece Chelsey and her fiance Christian! We love you both and are so happy for you. Looking forward to a fun, fabulous wedding in December.

Welcome Summer!

Summer finally decided to show itself this week. Our last month has been cool and cloudy but this week was beautifully sunny and definitely hot! Just in time for swim lessons, thank goodness! In honor of summer arriving I thought I would post our 2010 Summer List. I saw this idea on another blog and loved it so we thought we would do it this year and see how it goes. I am a huge list maker so naturally I liked this idea from the start and so far it has been working out well. I like that it keeps me planning fun things for Rhett and I to do and when I am feeling a little bored and need something to do, I can just refer to it for ideas. So here it is. . . .

Summer Rain

We don't often get summer rain in So. Cal but this week we have had it twice. We love to go play in the warm rain and enjoy the beautiful rainbows that follow.

Randy was working late. Rhett ate his dinner by the front door waiting for Daddy to come home.

Happy Father's Day

Randy got the short end of the stick when it came to Father's day since it fell on the last day of the reunion. Rhett was over stimulated, over tired and whiney. We had to check out of the hotel and make the drive home (only the 4th time we have driven that 6 hour drive in 10 days! awesome!).
I tried to make it up to him the next day. We got him a card. Rhett picked it out (b/c it had Tom and Jerry on it). He colored on it. He threw a fit when we gave it to Dad b/c he wanted it! I tried to make him a yummy dinner, that didn't work out, it is still in the fridge b/c we ended up going to my nephews little league game. We did end the evening with chocolate covered strawberries at least. Good thing, Randy didn't care at all. There is always next year.
