Don Pedro 2013

A couple of years a go we went to Don Pedro and crashed the boat on the first day!  We hit a sandbar and instantly came to a stop!  It lurched everyone forward and we almost lost someone over the front.  Luckily no one was seriously hurt and we were able to get back to the dock but boating was over for the rest of the trip.  We decided to try it again this year and actually get some time on the lake.  The water was great! We found a great cove where we were able to day camp and the people that weren't on the boat could swim and hangout.  Rhett loves tubing and wake surfing with Randy.  He tried skiing this year for one short turn and didn't love it so much but we were proud of him for trying. (That really means we made him and Nick bribeb him but thats the same thing, right?!) I had one good run wakeboarding but took a good fall, had whiplash, chipped my tooth and doped myself up on muscle relaxers for a couple of days  which was awesome! Other than the the trip was great with boating and swimming by day and camp fires at night.  Good Times!

 

More Arizona Fun!

What else is there to do in Arizona in the summer but swim and eat popsicles?!  That is about all we did and we had a great time!!!

Fallon's Baptism

We were able to go to Arizona to see our cute niece Fallon get baptized.  It was so wonderful to see her make this choice.  She is fun, kind and has a fiesty personality.  She and Rhett are twin cousins, are so similar and have a special bond.  We love her to pieces!!!!

Preschool Graduation

Our little boy graduated from preschool!  It has been a wonderful experience the past two years.  We love Mrs. Andrea!  She has been so amazing for Rhett.  He got an award for being a great example to the kids, a leader, kind and encouraging.   We are so proud of him!!!

Father & Sons 2013

After a few blundered Fathers and Sons camp outs they decided to do their own at the Moody's house this year.  They camped, had a campfire and took the Rhino out for a ride.  Randy found this snake when he almost stepped on it.  It was a baby rattler.  No big deal! Then he decided to pick it up.  Even better!  They had a great time!!

Mothers Day Beach Camping

Happy Mother's Day to Me!! I really needed to get away so we went beach camping.  It couldn't have been better!  We walked along the beach, had a camp fire, crawled through the rocks to check out the tide pools in the morning and spent Mother's Day at the beach.  It was a wonderful family weekend and just what I needed.  It might just need to be a Mother's Day tradition.
